Park trip to Tooting Common
Tuesday AM
Knights, Princesses, Queens and Wizards!
Make your own crowns/shields/tiaras/wizard hats
For the camera confident - a chance to write, direct and star in a 5 minute movie based off the story of King Arthur!
Tuesday PM
Park trip for outdoor adventures (shields and wizard wands optional!)
Wednesday AM
Sports Day!
Two teams test their agility, show their skills and try to beat the timer!
Wednesday PM
Baking afternoon and awards ceremony
Each little one will get a certificate at the end of the day highlighting something that makes them a 'Brill Kid'!
Sample Half Term Itinerary
Monday
It's Move and Shake Day!
Our Brill Kidz will tackle games, adventures and challenges as we all get to know one another on Monday mornings.
In the afternoon we have our first trip to the park (unless it's torrential rain) where our Brill Kidz can explore, discover and play!
Tuesday
Sports Stars!
Tuesday morning we’ll head straight to the park for an action-packed morning of sporting prowess. We’ll test our team work, ball skills and problem solving as our Brill Kidz work together to bring home as many stars as possible!
In the afternoon we’ll have a Sports-themed agility course where the kids face off against the adults and one team is crowned champions!
Wednesday
Outta-this-World Arts & Crafts!
On Wednesday we shoot off into space, but before we can do that we need a rocket. Hmm. What better way to get to the stars than by building our very own rocket ship! With glue and glitter galore, everyone will have the chance to express their creativity while on our super space mission.
Thursday
Movie Magic!
Thursday mornings are always a highlight at Brill Kidz when our whole group goes on a special outing to the cinema! We leave after breakfast and walk to the cinema before enjoying an age-appropriate film for the morning!
In the afternoon our Brill Kidz then get to try it out for themselves and make a movie together! Whether you like acting, making costumes and props, or helping out with the camera, every Brill Kid will get the chance shine as we write, direct and act in a (usually rather improvised and very chaotic) 5 minute movie!
Friday
Fun filled Friday!
To celebrate the end of a fabulous half term, our Brill Kidz will spend the morning in a bouncy castle! We’ll take a trip to a local church with an indoor bouncy castle and have fun either bouncing or enjoying the attached soft play. In the afternoon all the kids will receive a special award for their unique contribution to our Brill Kidz week, and you can bet they’ll be coming home full of memories and with some fab new friends.
